Consonants In Shorthand

The first thing which we need to learn while beginning shorthand is the strokes of consonants. Shorthand consists of 24 Consonants which are as follows-

P, B, T, D, CH, J, F, V, TH (ith), TH(them), S, Z, SH, ZH, K, G, M, N, NG, L, W, H, R, Y.

We can use same stroke for the two different consonants, however, we can differentiate the letters by using dark and light stoke. For example, P and B will use the same stroke "\" , however for P we will make a lighter stroke "\" and for B we will make the same stroke darker "\"
